  1.       The doc file is huge as you've no doubt noticed.  It's also
  2.    formatted so that it can be printed to a laser or pin printer.  You'll
  3.    need to set up each printer a bit differently in order to print the
  4.    docs correctly, so follow these directions.
  5.    
  6.       The document is formatted at 60 lpp, 75 cpl @ 10 cpi.  The file has
  7.    also been compressed by about 45k by using TAB characters at 8
  8.    character spacing.  At the end of each page is a ^L^M  (Form Feed -
  9.    Carriage Return) combination.  The C/R is present since some laser
  10.    printers do not reset the current character position after receiving a
  11.    form feed character.  Most laser printers are only capable of printing
  12.    60 lpp and since the document is formatted to 60 lines the skip-over-
  13.    perforation option in the printer must turned off.  Line printers
  14.    usually print 66 lpp so it must have it's skip-over-perforation option
  15.    turned on.  The left margin for both types of printers should be set to
  16.    5 so that there is room to 3-hole punch the output for placement in a
  17.    binder.

  19.       Two batch files are included with this archive to handle the
  20.    details of these differences, laser.bat and line.bat.

  25.       The Laser.bat file assumes the use of an HP compatible laser
  26.    printer.  Click on the icon to execute the batch file or execute it
  27.    from the CLI directly.

  32.       The Line.bat file assumes the use of any Epson compatible pin
  33.    printer.  Click on the icon to execute the batch file or execute it
  34.    from the CLI directly.
